I think that America will fall eventually, but not anytime soon. Reason being that we have a very strong and loyal army, very loyal citizens who wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, and our military leaders and generals aren’t corrupt and are very loyal to America.
We have a very powerful army and a very loyal army. The soldiers aren’t just loyal to their generals and commanders, they are loyal to their country and to their president. Chances are that none of the soldiers are going to sell their secrets to the enemy for how loyal they are.
Next, we have very loyal citizens of America who don’t want to live anywhere else, let alone try to betray their great country. Most people who live here in America love it and mostly know that they have it going pretty good right now.
Finally, we have very loyal and would never, under any circumstances, sell out America for money. When they signed up to the military, they did it for their country, no one else’s.
To sum all of this up, we have very loyal soldiers, really patriotic citizens, and non corrupted generals and commanders. Those are my reasons for why I think America will fall way in the future.
i think that america will eventually fall just like rome. rome had civil wars and other fighting going on within their own country, america, while it doesn’t have a civil war going on right now we are fighting internally all the time, a few years some political candidates got so heated in their debate, that it came down to actual blows. rome had inflation and other money issues. america has had a ton of inflation over the years, a coke was 10 cents in 1960 whatever. now its like a dollar. rome had crushing debt. america just loaned a few billion dollars to its banks and businesses when its economy was already failing.
I believe the United states will not fall like the romans did, but I do believe that the United states will fall to an epidemic like a mutated form of the flu. It showed that our country id slow to react to any disaster. then that opens another form of disaster that the United States is vulnerable To meteorites in spaces and if the human race will not react to that then the human race will be no more. But i also believe that the United States will live on for the next 15 generations or more because i believe that this will not happen for the next 50 years or so
I think that the united states of america is going to fall because, lack of people fighting for the U.S. we have a gap between the rich and the poor, and we are making to many enemies.
America is going to fall because we have a lack of people fighting for the U.S. most people don’t want to fight for our contry. every one has a family to support they cant be fighting. and some people think that it is not there problem.
The United States is going to fall because we have a gap between the rich and the poor. the poor are becoming poorer and the rich are becoming richer. imployment is becoming hard for those who are not well educated but the rich can pay for stuff like collage. the rich are not spending as much so the poor cant get as much money from there jobs.
America is going to fall because we have made to many enemies. we are making to much war with other places. we think to much of our selfs and people want power. and we make war over nothing.
so i think that america is going to fall because lack of people fighting for our contry. gap between rich and poor. and we are making to many enemies.
will america have the same fate as rome. no, america will not fall like rome because we have more funding towards defense, we have a way better army, and we also have more confidence then rome.
the first reason we wont fall like rome is because of our confidence. we have won quite a lot of wars over the years so we have more confidence. sometimes having so much confidence can cause you to fall but we are not the snobby kind of confident.
the second reason we wont fall is because we are richer. the good thing about this is that we will have more money to be funding then any other country. we can pay for guns and machinery and other equipment to win!!!
the last but most important reason we wont fall like rome is because we are just straight up pimps. if some other country is trying to come over here and rule or even if they are just talking about us, what do we do. we go top their country and we be at war. it’s true because have you ever seen an iraque uniform here? of course not but i’ll wait for you to figure it out. but really we have one of the best armies because of the funding and confidence.
I think that the America could fall such as the Roman empire did. My reasons for believing this are as follows. We have and had a lower economy for quite some time. Terrorism is also a factor that could contribute towards meeting the same fate as Rome. Terrorist attacks are not numerous, however when they do happen they are drastic. Attacks like 9/11 and the attack on The Pentagon are some examples. Another element could be that, like the mercenaries of ancient Rome, the people that live in America do not really have very much pride and faith in the government. Criminal acts could also be another cause leading towards the downfall of America.
I do not think America will meet the same fate as Rome because we are more advanced than Rome,we are more civilized, and our military is better.
We are more advanced than Rome. Our cities and civilization are more advanced than Rome’s. We have an advanced constitution that is willing to help us.
We are more civilized. We are not at the point of killing each other. We trust each other and won’t kill our leaders like Julius Caesar.
Our military is better. If we were to be attacked our army will be there to protect ad defend us. Our army will have a better strategy than Rome’s.
We are more advanced, we are more civilized, and our army is better. These are the reasons why I think America will not meet the same fate as Rome.
America, will it continue to grow, or fall under the pressure? Many people think that America is the next rome because of it’s rising power so people are starting to wonder if it will continue to grow or fall and be demolished like rome was.
I think that the American Empire will fall soon because America is the most powerful country in the world right now and i feel that other countries might become allies to conquer America.
My second reason is that America is getting too cocky, after a while of being top dogs rome started getting cocky and underestimated every other empire that was out there, therefore when Attila came to conquer rome, roman leaders weren’t too worried about it and ended up cowering under the great power of the huns, this is what i think will eventually happen to America because America has enemies that would like to hurt them very much.
My third and final reason kind of goes along with my second reason, America has a lot of financial problems and I HEARD that we are having money problems with other countries and that would probably explain why they’re mad at us. Basically what i think is that America is not READY to be the greatest country in the world.
Rome, the greatest empire in the world, fell. Will America have the same fate? America is a huge world power right now. Some say it is a great, or even the greatest empire today. We have a great army, a large government and a lot of power. But all empires must fall. We have a lot of the same problems that Rome developed before their decline, and I think that eventually, we will reach the same fate.
One of the problems Rome faced was military threats from surrounding countries. In America, we have helped a lot of countries, but we have also made a lot of enemies. The United States has taken over smaller countries and has become a threat to larger powers. We are currently in a war against terrorism, which helps in some ways, but it also weakens our army and creates enemies. I think that our army is strong right now, but it may not be powerful enough to fight off invasion in the future.
Another similar challenge we share is a bad economy. We are not nearly as bad off as Rome was and we have plenty of food and resources, but lately our economy has been dropping. There are a lot of people out of jobs and our nation is in debt. We owe money to several different countries and we don’t have enough to pay them back. If we keep going in this direction and we continue to get further into debt, we could end up with the same economic problems as Rome, if not worse.
The last, and probably the most important reason that America could fall, is the lack of patriotism in our country. People care more about actors and rock stars, then they do of the people running our country. If you asked, most people would be able to name the judges on American Idol, but probably could not name a single senator or justice in our government. We simply don’t care what goes on in the government’s affairs as long as it doesn’t directly effect us. How often do you see people that won’t even stand, or put their hand over their heart as our nation’s flag goes by. They don’t respect the place we live as much any more and we don’t realize how great our life here is. If we are not careful, other nations could use that to their advantage and America would fall. After all, who will fight for a nation that they have no pride in?
That is why I think America will fall. It won’t be immediate, and neither was the fall of Rome. It takes a long time and a lot of events lead up to it. But eventually, all great empires fall.
=D
they will loose land to mexico or canada cilvil war and unrest..
I think that america will fall because they owe other countries money, the gap is widening between the rich and poor people, and we keep making things that we cant afford.
when we owe money its hard for our country to make money and spend it on foods and things we need which is causing people to go homeless. why do we keep buying things that will make us lose money and not be able to pay them back.
the gap keeps widening between because the rich people in america keep getting more and more everyday and poor people keep losing money when they need it more than the rich people i think that they should give at least 40% of what they make to the poor people so that it’ll even out between the rich and poor people.
why do we keep making things that we cant afford and they are usually things we don’t need like game systems and newer modeled phones and making t.vs bigger and better and this falls back on owing other countries money these are reasons we cant afford to pay them back.
over all i think that america will eventually fall.
I don’t think america will fall like the Roman Empire. Because the Roman Empire has low funds for defense, military interference in politics, and they contrast between rich and poor.
The first reason why i think the U.S. wont fall like the Roman Empire is because the Roman Empire had low funds for defense but us in the U.S. we have a lot of funds because thats where all our money goes. Like all of our taxes and money we spend from the government.
The second reason why the U.S. wont fall like the Roman Empire because they have military inference in politics when ours is more a separation than an interference in politics. America can’t go to war without the congresses approval.
The third reason why i don’t think the U.S. will fall like the Roman Empire is because they have more of a contrast between the rich and the poor. Here we have smaller gap because the government will bail out anyone that is too poor to have essential supplies.
Those are the reasons why i don’t think the U.S. will fall like the Roman Empire did back then. But there are a lot more reasons why i don’t think the U.S. will fall but those are the three main ideas why we wont.
I think America will fall like Rome did. We have a lot in common with Ancient Rome. We’re getting too big and powerful and at some point we’re bound to fall.
There are many contributing factors to the fall of Rome. One of those factors was the low confidence in the empire. When no one has faith in their country, the country is weak and that’s what the U.S. is coming to.
Another reason Rome fell is because a lot of people got diseases and died. America was swarmed with the swine flu and people have died. Its quite possible that we could die off from diseases as well.
Romans got too used to being comfortable in their place, so it wasn’t hard for the barbarians to overrun them. Now the U.S. is getting so comfortably lazy and weak, it wouldn’t be hard to walk all over some people.
So my main point is I do think America will fall like Rome. This country is getting weak. I think it’ll end someday.
this picture is pretty cool !!!!!!!!
its funny too
I thnk that America will not fall becaus it doesnt have all of the bad stuff that rome had. But America and Rome have some thngs in common like low funds, civil war, and unrest, division of empire, and others.
also because back then they didnt really have technology and today technology is so advanced, and powerful that I think their is no way America can fall. but their is also alot of bad stuff like drugs, violence, and alot of crime. America is also in a bad economy crisise. In Rome they had division of empires and in America they have division too. like in division in religion people are christian, catholic, mormon, or some other religion but other than that i dont think America will fall.
In the past many great empires have fallen. The Persian empire, the Egyptian empire, and many say that every great empire must fall. Well, what about America?
The American empire is the greatest empire so far. Often the American empire’s glory is compared with the roman empire’s glory. Rome, was on of the greatest empires, but they also had the hardest fall. If the greater the empire is the harder it falls, how hard, if it happens, will America fall?
Rome fell because of many factors from political, to social, to the military, even to economic problems. America, I’m sure, has some of the same problems as Rome had, but America may know how to combat these contributing factors to downfall, therefore, I don’t believe America will fall.
America does indeed, as Rome did, have crushing tax burdens, however, some of our politicians are working to get rid of some of our taxes , therefore, working to combat downfall.
In Rome, they had not the money to defend themselves, here in America, we have not only the money to defend ourselves, but the technology as well. We have tanks, planes, guns and other neat things.
In Rome they also had disloyalty and patriotism problems here in america we don’t and you can tell by how us Americans reacted to the 9/11 attack.
I think that America will fall because they owe alot of money to countries like China. They will fall because there are more rich than the poor and thats not fair. And because they owe alot of money and thy still keep making it worse by making more stuff and nor paying back China.
America is going to fall because they owe money to countries that we need. in America almost everything in the USA comes from China. We need China for everything we owe them billions of money and with out China we will not have anything that we have in Wal Mart of anywhere. America better pay up or else.
There are too many poor people in the US and alot of rich people
this picture is pretty cool !!!!!!!!
its funny too

I Love nikes
there my favorite so i love the picture
.!!
No I don’t think the United States will fall unlike Rome did, because unlike Rome we haven’t divided our empire or our whole state in two parts, we stick together like one and i think if we stick together like right now there is nothing that can make us fall.
Another reason why i think we wont fall like Rome did is because we haven’t lost our interest on public affairs, we can at least watch the news and know what’s going on with the whole world and still care for it like we are right now with the HAITI earthquake we are helping them out from all over the world, and Rome didn’t once they lost what belonged to them or was sacred to them they gave up, and we haven’t.
The United States will not fall also because when we go to war we have political or the government approve it so we can fight and also we let the people know as well, but in Rome they did not do that they just fought when ever they felt like it or felt threatened and they did not warn the people there and they didn’t have a government like we do.
The United States has technology like no other and Rome back then didn’t have any technology so i think that’s another reason why we can fall like Rome did, and with our technology now we can do more things then Rome could ever do, we are more advance then they would ever be and i think wih our weapons now can do whatever we can to not make our empire or states fall.
I do not believe that America will fall like the Roman Empire. My reasons for this are that the low funds for defense that rome has, the interference that the military has with the politics and lastly the contrast between the rich and the poor.
First the low funds for defense that rome had weakened rome over a time period. But America has been putting and still is putting money towards defense funds.
I think that one day America will fall, im sad to say that about my own country but I believe that this great nation will fail someday. I have a few reasons to support this including our economy and inflation, our economy right no is very sluggish and its not getting better. There is record unemployment and the stock markets like drops every day. One day I also think that china will invade us or some other country, but we owe china so much debt so I think that it could happen, and lastly we could eventually split between the east and the west sides of the united states.
Inflation is a possible way to make our country fail, because all the stocks could just drop one day and that would be it. I also think that one day our economy just loose everything, such as peoples 401k’s going to zero and nobody having the ability top retire or the subject of the dollar loosing its value.
I also think the end of our gigantic empire could be from other countries trying to invade us, like the third world war. One of those possible countries that could invade could very well be china, why I say china is that the United States owes china a lot of debt, and we just keep getting ourselves into more and more debt.
One last reason is when the Roman empire was failing the east separated from the west, that could eventually happen with the United states, definetly, the east coast could split from the west coast, and we could be at war and all of our major thing we have accomplished in our countries successful rein would be lost forever, and our country would fail.
Finally I think that America will eventually fail, because the economy here in America sucks, we have record unemployment and inflation. Also we could very well be invaded by another country, such as china, or maybe even Iraq. Lastly the country could split in half from the west coast to the eat coast. And these reason are very similar to why the Roman Empire failed.
The US will not fall no matter what other people think. The US is much different than the Roman Empire. The US will not fall because hardly any one cares about the government, the US doesn’t have the military interfering, and the US’s capitol doesn’t move it stays in Washington DC.
The decline in interest in the US has made it so the citizens don’t really care who runs it as long as they keep their promises they promised us while they were running. 98% of the US population cant tell you who runs the government but they can tell you who judges the American idol TV show. We are too interested in our TV fantasies that we don’t care really who runs or country.
In the US there aren’t any military interference so we have total control of our country. The military can drag us down and we don’t need that so we don’t have the military interfering with the government. I may personally like the military but they will indeed pull us down. Rome fell mainly because the military interfered with the government.
The US’s capitol is in Washington D.C. and will stay in Washington D.C. We are smart enough to keep our capitol in one place that way every one knows where it is. Rome moved their capitol which did indeed mix a lot of people up. The US wont be as stupid and we will keep our capitol in Washington D.C.
Just because Rome’s Empire fell doesn’t mean the US will. The US is a lot stronger than Rome was or ever was. The US will never fall. The three reasons I gave weren’t the only reasons why Rome fell they had many reasons why they fell. The US may have many problems but then again we don’t have as many as they do. The US will not fall because hardly any one cares about the government, the US doesn’t have the military interfering, and the US’s capitol doesn’t move it stays in Washington DC.
I think that the US will fall eventually, but not any time soon. The US will have the same fate as the Roman Empire because our economy, civil war, and lack of pride from people living in the US.
America’s economy is falling, drastivally, and has been for a long time. Our unemployment rate is setting records, and inflation is high as well.
Americans’ are constantly battling each other. The Democrats and Republicans will never agree with each other. The fight between them just continues to increas.
Lastly, people that live in the US don’t really show pride in it. Half of the people that live here could care less what happens to the US.
I think that the US will fall eventually, but it’s going to take some time. All great empires will fall..
There are too many poor people in the US and alot of rich people. And that not fair because one day there are going to be too much and the poor people are going to declare war on the rich people and then people are not going to get along and that not good for the US.
An the just think they are going to fall because they are going the same thing that Rome did.Like even though they were really out of money they still bought more stuff for the military and that what made them later lose everything. Just like America because look America owes China a lot of money and.
I mean a lot and still the US is not paying them back and we are so much in debt that one day we are not going to have money to defend ourself when China gets pissed off and destroys America.so that what u think. I think America will fall because you know what they say ALL EMPIRES MUST FALL!!!!
Will America Fall?
Depends on what you mean by “fall” and “America”. To understand what I mean, look at the reasons for why Rome fell. Most people say that Rome fell with the death of the last Roman Emperor at the hands of the ‘Barbarians’ in 476 A.D. But is that why Rome fell? Some people would argue that the fall of Rome begun earlier with the split between the Eastern and Western Empires. Others say that Rome never really fell, but that the western half of the empire lives on today as Italy.
I think all of these views are valid and have parallel to us. I don’t think our country will be over-run and invaded by foreign powers like the Romans’. Not because our army is so superior, but because the world doesn’t fight that way anymore. The players on the world scene either don’t have the capacity for a full on invasion (like extreme terrorist groups-though they probably would if they could), or they have learned from history that there are better ways to gain power over a country (like show off military dominance rather than actually fighting them, make them economic servants, change the politics/diplomacy, etc.). So an outright defeat through conquest is unlikely.
The second scenario is much more likely. The separation of the Eastern and Western factions of Rome (the Byzantine Empire centered at Constantinople and the Western Roman Empire centered at Rome) shows the results in a growing divide in basic beliefs. (The divide it illustrates the history-wide clash between the two hemispheres.) Very similar issues divide us today politically, religiously, economically, and at the very base of our ideologies: Is America the land of free enterprise, or is it a place where all are equal? Do we offer absolute freedom, or do we limit what people can do because it is morally wrong? And who decides? Do we defend ourselves by carrying a big stick, or by speaking softly?
The bigger question then is not “will America fall?”, but what is this ‘America’ we speak of and what is its fate. America is a very dynamic country. We have changed a lot over the couple centuries of our existence. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not (as if I am in any position to decide what is ‘better’). We are already a very different country than when we started-just as Italy is very different from the Roman Empire it proceeded from. On the other hand, just like a grandchild, there are still some recognizable characteristics in both countries.
I don’t think America will be wiped off the map. We will remain just as Italy does. Will we always be a world power? Will our ideals endure? Will we remain United States? Will people a millennium from now recognize our connection to whatever we do become? Only time will tell.
Every Great empire will fall. Eventually, the US will fall as Rome did.
The people are losing interest in this country’s affair and not being serious and careful about the government and economy, just for a start. For instance, not carefully investigating those running for office before voting on who “looks like they’d be good”. Furthermore, our leaders are of chief importance because, overall, they control where over country is headed. For example, Julius Caesar was such strong consul for so long that he eventually became Rome’s dictator. Likewise, if Obama was to be reelected into power for x amount of time, he could grow to slowly become ours. On the other hand, we could also have multiple bad presidents voted into office in a row-corrupting our government, military, and economy.
Meanwhile, the money problem is growing, and then comes serious inflation leading to deep money trouble. The gap between the rich and poor is growing. Ordinarily, this results in a revolution, where the poor come together against the rich. The problems here could result with internal war.
In time, invasions and external war would weaken us and possibly bring us down because the US is paying people that are not US citizens to fight for us. Subsequently, there is disloyalty. Those soldiers take risks because they are not devoted to this country and they are just fighting for what we pay them…with the money we don’t really have.
In any case, the US must fall sometime, whether to these similar reasons as Rome, or to new, never recorded reasons.
I say that the U.S. will not fall like Rome because we have a better government. Also our founding father thought out how this country should run, they also used the better methods that rome and other cultures had. We don’t over tax our people. Our government has to have the legislature and senate, unlike rome. Our Armed Forces also have better methods for battle. Our Military doesn’t rule over us. The U.S. is not going to fall because it has awesome people like me in it
(and you too).
My opinion is that America will fall sometime just like Rome did. America doesn’t always comprise with other countries and because of this its people might not believe in their way of government anymore. Also politicians need to agree to build a better country and that means more money but it will make everything better. And might lead to a greater America.
I am not trying to be racist but if Barack Obama stays in office for another term America will fall. Because he is putting more troops in the war and that is what happened to Rome they put to much in their military and lost it all. Also he lied to get into office and that is like he is brain washing us to elect him again so he can become a dictator and make America create a Civil War and America will fall. Last but not least the economy is in inflation and that will make our economy destroy many other countries ecenomys which would make America become vulnerable and be attacked by Russia or Chynna and America will be no more.
I dont really think america will fall like the Roman Empire did only because there are many differences.
My first reason why i think the america wont fall like the Roman Empire did is cause the Roman Empire had low funds for defense and we dont.
The second reason why america wont fall like the Roman Empire is cause they have military inference in politics when ours is more a separation than an interference in politics.
The third reason why i dont think that america will fall like the Roman Empire is cause they have more of a contrast between the rich and the poor.
Here we have smaller gap because the government will bail out anyone that is too poor to have essential supplies.
Rome had alot of problems and but i dont think that america is going to fall in the same problems. in 146 BC RFome was in a civel war they were tring to make there country better by going to war with there problems, like they had problems with Italians giving back t the poor, they bealived in if your dont work for what you have you dont need it the government is not going to give it to them for free: america trys to help those in need but they cant help them all. they also had a problem with Africans attacking corthage, they were killing the roman people that were living in there county, they went to war with them they had a hard time but they did win: america never had that problem with africans but we do have a inigration isue, we are slowly working on that problem, i think thay should work on that more than the war so i can get a jod that some imigrant has. Rome had a problem with the Italian not being treated righ or equal, they wanted to have more voteing righs: america had these prpblams at one point but it was with white, black; or man or woman, but we had fixed that problem when it became a isue. America has a good stand.
I hope America won’t fall like Rome but if we stay on the course we’re on it might. we cant afford to keep going into debt like we are now. We have a different kind of government than Rome did also, they were ran by one person and we have a government of many that make and pass laws together.
I do not believe that America will fall like the Roman Empire. My reasons for this are that the low funds for defense that rome had, the interference that the military had with the politics and lastly the contrast between the rich and the poor.
First the low funds for defense that rome had weakened rome over a time period. But America has been putting and still is putting money towards defense funds. Americans are constantly paying taxes that go to military funds and other funds used to manage our goverment. This for the most part keeps America out of debt.
Second, the interference that ancient Romes military had with the politics. For ancient Rome the general of the military was also the king or someone high on the rank of power. Yes America does have the president involved with the army’s and navy’s choices but the president dosent run into battle and lead wars like the Romans did.
Lastly, in Rome the contrast between rich and poor was a big effect to Rome falling. Rome’s gap between the wealthy and the poor just kept getting bigger and bigger and got so bad that there would be less rich and more poor hungry people. America has had a gap between the rich and the poor but that time did not last long and now America is slowly closing up the gaps by employing more people than people being layed off.
In closing I believe that America has had, and does have a more sturdy and strong foundation as a country.
no i do not believe that we will suffer the same fate as the romans because we can look back on what mistakes they made and learn from them and we also have the technology that will allow us to maintain a prosperous state
we also are more divers than the romans were and we allow different social classes to mix more than the romans did so we also get more input from different kinds of people
I believe that America shall soon fall. For it shall be through our economy going down the drain and causing us all to lose our value of money. In which it will destroy us utterly and ultimately for we would lose our jobs we would not be able to get anything and maybe have to scavenge for our everyday needs. Or we will fall by overpopulation and too many people to get jobs and we will soon bring ruin to all of our forests just to give us room to have buildings which is gonna cause an awful lot of attention from wildlife and we would lose our resources from the overpopulation that would soon be exhausted and have nothing to make supplies that are needed for day to day life. We could also fall from some obscene scam that would make a lot of enemies that will sooner or later exact their revenge or hatred toward us you never know anything can happen I will only hope that t doesn’t come to pass. Though no matter way you slice we will fall one day and millions will suffer then.
